After attaining both the bachelor and the M.A. in Philosophy at the University of Naples Federico II, she achieved the Master in Civic Studies, organized by Princeton University and Ethica Foundation. Her expertise on nineteenth-century European political thought, the history of the idea of Europe, transnational European history, Hegel and Hegelianism as well as Italian Politics and History led to several journal articles, both in Italian and in English, and to the book From patria to the State: Bertrando Spaventa’s intellectual biography, published in Italian by Laterza. She is now working on a revised version of her PhD thesis to turn it into a book. She is a member of the Scientific and Organizational Board of the Research Network on the History of the Idea of Europe and founder of the Society for Political Studies.
